The Client
Founded in 1997 our client is a leading global provider of software solutions designed and developed for companies in the field of commodity trading and risk management. Their main goal is to provide the trading community with the most robust, user-friendly, enterprise-wide software package available. Network Sunday had previously worked with the client's Head of Sales & Marketing on a number of successful programmes.
The Challenge
The client was looking to raise awareness, uncover market intelligence and produce some quality content in the run-up to a global oil and gas conference where they were delivering a keynote speech.
The target professionals for the interviews were trading, risk, finance and technology leaders from these emerging markets.
The Solution
The initial plan was to focus on a thought leadership-led programme, interviewing leaders from an addressable market of c.700 target accounts. The theme looked at the mid to long term future of the industry covering both economic, environmental and social factors driving change and the implications for the industry. The marketing initiative would raise awareness in the market through the interviews and dissemination of content through LinkedIn.
The Result
Network Sunday has established hundreds of connections and relationships with target buyers within the Oil sector from across South America and Asia. As well as a 20 page eBook, Network Sunday and ran an eBook marketing campaign which has resulted in over 3,000 eBook views. The marketing investment has returned over 15 meetings. Network Sunday has also initiated a marketing nurture programme, writing articles each month, delivering newsletters and managing their LinkedIn company page. A second campaign will be starting in September to a new commodities sector.
