Accelerating product innovation & time-to-market in today’s demanding M&E landscape
What's this research about?
As per Deloitte’s findings, the 2021 outlook of the media and entertainment (M&E) industry predicted rallying support for new business models and technologies that foster a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour and better consumer engagement. Across the UK, tech teams in the M&E industry endeavoured to attract, delight and retain customers. However, many are faced with challenges due to ever-increasing technological innovations, customer demands in product development, digital skills shortages, faster go-to-market delivery deadlines and more. We will be interviewing 20 of the UK’s top M&E IT & digital leaders on initiatives to manage these challenges while accelerating product innovation and keeping up with ever-evolving customer demands. The report is due to be published in June 2022. *Please note, these interviews are invitation only. Q2
In 2021 KPMG conducted a survey with 300 technology professionals in media, titled, The Data Imperative. It was found that 57% do not have a defined, enterprise-level data strategy. When they asked about data usage over the next 12 to 24 months, 73% of organisations agreed that as organisations rushed to survive, most did not have time to think through the treasure trove of data they were creating for themselves. How would you define ‘enterprise-level data strategy’ at your organisation?
