Innovating Insurance: Understanding Emerging Risks in an Uncertain World
What's this research about?
Climate Risk Assessment is nothing new for insurers and in recent times, the insurance industry has been challenged by catastrophic events caused by climate change. Add to this the pandemic, the situation in Ukraine and the corresponding economic uncertainty.
To address these challenges, the insurance industry will need to become more adept at using agile digital technology to better analyse and mitigate risk exposure for their clients.
This research, sponsored by Esri UK, will feature the views and insights from c.10 industry leaders on how insurance providers are using technology to understand, innovate and improve risk assessment.
TechPros.io will be publishing an eBook with the findings from the interviews in February 2023.

To address these uncertainties insurers need to focus on technology innovation to better understand risk. Do you agree with this statement, if so what innovations are needed. If not, why not?
Q2
Which of the uncertainties mentioned in my previous question do you believe present the most significant challenges to the insurance industry today and why?
