Frequently Asked Questions For Interview Participants


Please read these FAQs to help you prepare for your interview.

1. What is the objective of my interview?


To present a range of C-level perspectives on trending industry topics, which will be shared widely on LinkedIn and sent out to hundreds of senior executives within your industry.

2. What value will I get from participating?


Whilst we share a few questions in advance, you are required to think on the spot, so the process is both stimulating and challenging. You will get to see how your peer group is tackling similar challenges. You will be acknowledged on LinkedIn and your profile and most likely quote(s) will be viewed by hundreds of industry professionals.

3. How do I book my interview?


We send you a calendly link which has an open diary, usually giving you a choice of any slot between 9 am and 5 pm UK and US East Coast time over the next 2 weeks. Once you have booked, we match you to an available interviewer and send out a meeting invitation. You will also receive a few ‘welcome emails’ from us. Once confirmed, we also request your best headshot photo and short bio (300 characters) in advance of your interview.

4. How do I prepare for the interview?


The interview guide (see Live Interviews) will set the scene and include some industry reports which will add more context. However, the reason you have been invited to interview is because you will have the necessary experience and insight to contribute to the programme, so little preparation is required!

5. What happens if I’m running late or I can’t make my scheduled interview?


We understand that other priorities may take precedence over a TechPros.io interview. In advance of your interview, you will receive the name and contact details of your interviewer so you can let them know if you are running late. If you need to reschedule simply ‘reply all’ to the calendar invitation with your proposed new times.

6. What is the format of the interview?


Your interview will last for 25-30 minutes and will be conducted via a Zoom / Teams conference or we will call you on your preferred number. At the end, your interviewer will make you aware of any follow on virtual events taking place so you can register your interest. They will also let you know when you can expect the content publication to be released.

7. What happens after the interview?


Feedback is important to us, so we invite you to rate your experience and share a few comments via a private online form, this includes some of your insights shared that you think could be considered for the content publication. Our Sponsor listens to your interview and comments on parts they are particularly interested in. To explore these in more detail our Sponsor may wish to follow up with you, prior to briefing our writer, in which case we will request a follow-up call usually within two weeks. Following this, we will send over quote(s) for your review and acceptance.

8. Approving your contributions


For any proposed or requested quotes, we kindly ask you to confirm within one week that you are happy for these to be included, or propose your quote on a requested subject. We may contact you prior to the eBook being published for approval of more quotes we wish to use. We will follow up with you by email and phone to seek your approval, if we don’t hear back from you within a week, we will include your quote.
