TechPros.io Challenge Forum

Storytelling

Thursday, 18th May

3:30 PM BST

This event is moderated by TechPros and sponsored by Network Sunday

About this invitation-only event:

Everyone loves a good story, and that includes prospective customers. But how do you tell a good story? Should they be about customer use cases or something linked to your company's purpose or organisational idiosyncrasies? What can marketing learn from traditional story formats?

Are you responsible for your organisation's content? Do you have challenges you can share related to this topic? It could be priorising content that educates and emotionally connects with buyers through storytelling.

Fill in the form and join this 75 min peer group session to discuss common challenges on this subject and find out how others are solving them.

At this event, you will:

  • Meet other B2B sales and marketing leaders
  • Vote on which challenges are chosen for discussion
  • Offer a solution to each challenge put forward

Please see below to learn about the event format and opportunity for pre and post-event networking.

Who is invited?

B2B Enterprise Sales and Marketing leaders from technology and/or professional services.

This is a peer group learning session and to ensure value from attending it is critical participants are in similar roles and can contribute thoughts and ideas from relevant career experiences. We reserve the right to decline registrations. Events will typically include 3 to 5 participants alongside the sponsor.

How it works

A maximum of five marketing leaders will submit one challenge related to the topic (by registering here - max 80 characters). TechPros.io will confirm your place at the event by calendar invitation following your registration and send over more information.

On the day you will vote on which challenge will be selected for the discussion. However, we also post the submitted challenges anonymously in our Guild group a day before the event, offering the community the opportunity to vote on which challenge resonates with them most.

The event starts with the owner of the selected challenge explaining it in detail, followed by the others asking questions and then offering solutions.

We follow up with you to discuss and agree your contributions for the Podcast edit and any associated content being produced.

Insights from a few industry leaders in the Accelerating Digital Innovation in Media and Entertainment eBook:

Data plays a huge part in decision making, whether it’s about what products to create, how to optimise our products, and how to win in the marketplace. We use a combination of data and research to inform decisions. It’s fundamental.

Mahesh Ramachandra

Head of Product, Digital Preschool, Entertainment One

The data drives the insight as to why our customers consume what they’re interested in, so that is key for us. It will be a vital part of our strategy across the coming years.

Jean-Paul Camelbeek

Chief Product and Customer Officer, Reach PLC

Everything is going to be much more personalised and targeted in the future. Discoverability is the biggest challenge of the OTT industry. The more services that come out, the more people don’t know what to watch. All of that will have to be very personalised based on data and that is why there’s definitely going to be the need to collect lots of it.

Rasmus Larsson

Product Director, Sports Businesses, Sony
