- Key Hypothesis: The technology to enable digital supply chains is readily available, other factors are causing organisation with DSC projects to struggle to deliver the benefits quickly.
- The pandemic has amplified the need for more agile and responsive global and local supply chains – what should be the priorities for DSC.
- How can the business, IT and service providers best work together to accelerate more transformational outcomes in digital supply chain.
- This study mainly looked at DSC within the enterprise. How important are business networks in your plans for DSC solutions to integrate partners and customers?
Challenges discussed in the session: 1) The future success of control tower systems in organisations is questioned. How can we make control (command) centre systems really successful and with high adoption rates? 2) My challenge is how to ensure constant visibility on a SKU level along the supply chain, from manufacturer to store or consumer, including the single use of Data.

A maximum of six participants will attend. There’s no cost other than your time. You must ensure you attend with your video switched on. Given the tight timescales, we do insist that you join the session on time so there are no delays, and you will be required to give your full attention for 90 mins.
What is the objective of the virtual roundtable event? To share thoughts and ideas on digital supply chain strategies. To give to, and take from, your co-participants in equal measure.
What is the format of the event?
This event format is designed to inspire, guide, and motivate participants with its highly interactive nature. It is based on a format widely used by well-known leadership membership organisations.
Beforehand, each participant will submit a thought-provoking business challenge or idea relating to the event theme. These are circulated and voted on with the most popular two discussed at the event. Each participant will take their turn to question the challenge owner on the subject and later give their advice.
What value will I get from attending? We hope that you go away with some fresh thinking to help you shape your supply chain transformation strategy and will have also made some new industry connections.
Will the session be recorded? No. In full respect of the Chatham House Rules, the virtual roundtable will not be recorded. Participants need not worry about any information being shared outside of the session.
