How has the pandemic influenced the way that you deliver transformation services?
I would say almost 90% of our communication now is non-verbal. Before the pandemic, we did not appreciate how much we assessed non-verbal signals on the fly. Adapting to this decrease of non-verbal communication through virtual sessions or video conferences requires a big change in mindset. It is great to have clients that support the work-from-home model, but this model has created a large shift in day-to-day operations and communications. How we deliver and interact to adapt and make up for this deficit is something that needs to be assessed on an ongoing basis.
At Curtis&Co, we embrace this challenge through actively using the various productivity and technology tools available today, such as MS Teams, Zoom, web-based white-boarding and co-working technology. We use these everyday, whether that’s working internally or with a client. Technology is really at the forefront of what we do with and for our clients. It was a natural shift for our team to make.
