How are you helping client organisations become more agile and more resilient?
If we start with resilience, that’s a result of planning, training and empowerment of the workforce. Resilience in change management means focusing on people, creating awareness and desire, then giving people the knowledge and ability to execute that change. The problem is that we can make that process too rigid, which is where agility comes in.
Agility is about more than a methodology or certification, it’s about the organisations culture. It’s about creating an environment where people can pivot, flex, remain lean and shift priorities when necessary. It’s got to be a safe environment where it’s okay to fail, so long as you learn and don’t repeat the same mistake. If you’re agile, you can test new things fast, fail, learn from that, embed lessons learnt and then build upon that learning. That’s going to make you more resilient.
