We use Wardley Mapping pretty extensively and I think it’s a great leveller. It’s extremely useful for understanding situational awareness – where our client is, and where they could go over a period of time. I’ve used that technique for close to a decade, with different clients.
With Wardley Mapping, once you understand the map, and understand where you are from a situational awareness perspective, you can make decisions around quality, budget, resources and so on. A lot of time people are flying blind with a big shopping list, but no frame of reference for how they’re going to get that party started. Wardley is a great technique to understand that.
